Kenyan environmental champion Truphena Muthoni is soaring to new global heights after completing a jaw-dropping 72-hour non-stop tree-hugging marathon, a feat that eclipses her previous 48-hour record and cements her name in the world of creative climate activism.
The remarkable effort, now pending official ratification by Guinness World Records, has not only sparked national pride but also drawn powerful support from corporate Kenya.
In a major show of solidarity, Odibets has stepped forward with a KSh 1 million contribution to propel Muthoni’s environmental initiatives—which include tree-planting drives, climate awareness efforts, and long-term sustainability campaigns across the country.
During the cheque handover, Odibets General Manager Dedan Mungai applauded Muthoni’s bold spirit and relentless dedication, calling her a beacon for young people and eco-warriors nationwide.
“We are delighted to boost Truphena Muthoni’s quest. Her unwavering commitment to environmental conservation is truly admirable, and we believe this support will help her scale her efforts and inspire more Kenyans to take action towards a greener future,” said Mungai.
