Ministry of Defence Advertises 45 Permanent Civilian Jobs for KDF.

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), under the Ministry of Defence, has launched a recruitment drive for 45 civilian positions on permanent and pensionable terms. This initiative targets entry-level roles to support operations at key facilities including Ulinzi House, State Houses, and various government lodges across the country.

The vacancies, announced on December 29, 2025, present opportunities for Kenyan citizens with modest academic qualifications to secure stable employment with attractive benefits.

The positions comprise 30 Garden Assistant III roles under CSG 15 and 15 Support Staff/Sanitary Cleaner positions under CSG 16.

Garden Assistants will receive a basic monthly salary ranging from Ksh 19,340 to Ksh 24,470. Successful candidates in both categories enjoy comprehensive allowances, including a house allowance, a Ksh 3,000 commuter allowance, and an annual leave allowance of Ksh 4,000.

No prior experience is required, broadening access for youth and job seekers from diverse backgrounds, particularly in rural areas.
